This event for Care Company, DC, will encourage others to host strangers, friends and neighbors.
I'll be leading a circle on Book Tour as Ministry (caring for and catalyzing those with whom we speak) at the wonderful Festival of Faith & Writing, a great event for readers and writers. Learn more about my own circle and other cool ones at http://festival.calvin.edu/festival-2016/festival-circles/.
I'll be in Columbus, Indiana, gathered with a group of friends and neighbors discussing the book's themes -- neighbor love, listening to God's voice above cultural ones, finding freedom, abundant life. Let's see where the Spirit takes us! Message me for more information.
Sponsored by Care Company, DC, this evening will be a chance to plan for a group of people to plan for and reflect on hosting dinner parties for their neighbors, known and not yet known.
The topic for the evening is "Who is My Neighbor?" and these Care Conversations are designed to provide a forum where thoughts leaders share wisdom through story-telling, followed by a time of conversation. For more information, contact firstname.lastname@example.org.

I'm excited to return to a church I love. Having spoken at their women's retreat several years ago, I know the depth of faith, stories, care and love in this crew, and it'll be fun to be with them again. Here's more information for anyone in the area: http://www.fpcbristol.org/growing/women/
